How can I ensure I have a table at BISQUE & FIRE, especially during busy times?

Booking is highly advised at BISQUE & FIRE, as we love to accept walk-ins, but there is no guarantee we will have space at your chosen time
 To make a reservation, please book for the total number of people in your party, not just the painters, so that everyone can have a seat. Additionally, at least 50% of your booking must consist of painters. This ensures that we can accommodate all guests comfortably and provide the best possible experience for everyone involved.

How much does a session cost

You will only pay for the pottery you choose to paint on the day and any of our lovely cakes and refreshments you order.  Our Pottery selection changes frequently but will always have pieces ranging from £14 to £40. Most are in the mid price range.

We do not charge any studio fee for any visit to us so all paints,  materials glazing and firing is included within the price.

We pride ourselves on providing the best coffee from local Brazier Wellington  Roasters  and provide a full range of bespoke hot and cold drinks.

We provide a daily changing selection of sweet treats to devour whilst you are painting.

Evening BYOB & Paint Sessions

We have a BYOB and Paint evening sessions on the last Friday of every month.

Please keep an eye on our website & socials to see these sessions online and see what dates are upcoming each month.

Bring your own bubbles & snacks and enjoy a chilled creative evening with friends. 
Arrive at 6pm and sessions last for 3 hours.

Question 6

How long does it take for my pottery to be fired and ready for collection at BISQUE & FIRE

At BISQUE & FIRE, your fired pottery will usually be ready within 10 days after your visit. However, please note that during holiday periods, this timeframe may be extended due to increased demand. We are open for collections from Thursday to Sunday, and you have a month to pick up your pieces once they are ready. Your pottery will be filed under the name of the original booking, and you will receive a collection card at the time of your booking which we ask you to bring along when collecting your pottery. This process ensures that your pieces are easily located and securely handed over to you. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Do you offer delivery?

We are more than happy to post your pottery out to you at your own risk. We will take the upmost care when packing your pieces but if there is any damage in transit this is at your own risk and we will not be responsible and no refunds given.

Long stay parking is for cars and motorcycles with an all-day charge available.

Culverhayes car park (https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-carpark/find-a-car-park/-/ddl_display/ddl/268854/99395/maximized)(DT9 3ED) has 263 car parking spaces, 2 motorcycle spaces and free public toilets. This car park is open for 24 hours but has a height restriction of 2.1m between 6pm and 8am. There are two 22kw Electric Vehicle charge points at this car park.

Coldharbour car park (https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-carpark/find-a-car-park/-/ddl_display/ddl/270073/99395/maximized)(DT9 4HA) has 67 car parking spaces and one motorcycle space, plus one 22kw and one 60kw Electric Vehicle charge points.

Acreman Street car park (https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-carpark/find-a-car-park/-/ddl_display/ddl/269292/99395/maximized)(DT9 3NX) has 45 car parking spaces and one motorcycle space. 
The Railway Station car park (DT9 3NB) has 67 spaces with charges for all day, weekend or 7 days (Monday to Sunday).

Short stay parking is for cars and motorcycles and are the least expensive options for staying for 3 hours or less.

Old Market Yard car park (https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-carpark/find-a-car-park/-/ddl_display/ddl/267803/99395/maximized)(DT9 3HR) has 109 car parking spaces and 2 motorcycle spaces, plus two 22kw and one 50kw Electric Vehicle charge points, and free public toilets.

Newland North car park (https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-carpark/find-a-car-park/-/ddl_display/ddl/269972/99395/maximized)(DT9 4HA) has 54 car parking spaces and one motorcycle space.

There is a car park at Sainsbury’s supermarket (DT9 3ND) which has 193 spaces and a maximum stay of 2 hours. Charges apply.

Disabled Access

We have our designed our space so all are welcome at Bisque & Fire. We have a ramp and disabled access toilets and a baby changing station. Please get in touch if you have any special requirements and we can look to accommodate your request.

Are Dogs Welcome

Dogs are more than welcome but please be aware of the creative pottery environment so they need to be well behaved and calm.
